How to Delegate with Lace Wallet

Follow these simple steps to delegate your voting power using the Lace wallet and Tempo.vote.

Open Lace Wallet

Make sure you have the Lace browser extension installed and your wallet set up with ADA.

Visit Tempo.vote

Navigate to tempo.vote to view Montrasi's DRep profile.

Connect Your Wallet

Click 'Connect Wallet' on Tempo.vote and select Lace from the available wallet options.

Click 'Delegate Voting Power'

On Montrasi's profile page, click the 'Delegate Voting Power' button to initiate the delegation process.

Sign the Transaction

Review the delegation details in your Lace wallet and sign the transaction. You'll pay a small network fee plus a 2 ADA deposit.

Delegation Complete

Your votes are now delegated to Montrasi! You can view your delegation status on Tempo.vote and change it at any time.

Common questions about delegating your vote to a DRep

When you delegate your vote to a DRep (Delegated Representative), you're giving them the authority to vote on governance proposals using your voting power. Your ADA remains in your wallet and under your control.
Yes, you can change your delegation to a different DRep or remove your delegation entirely at any time. There's no lock-up period for your ADA.
No, delegating your governance vote doesn't affect your staking rewards. You can still earn rewards from staking your ADA to a stake pool while also participating in governance through delegation.
Delegation requires a small transaction fee (typically a few ADA) plus a 2 ADA deposit. The deposit is refundable when you remove your delegation.
You can remove your delegation at any time if you disagree with how your DRep is voting. You can also participate directly in governance by voting on proposals yourself.
